Mealtime has completely changed in our house

My Labrador used to inhale his food in under 30 seconds and then spend the next hour looking miserable with a bloated belly. Since switching to this lick bowl he takes his time, stays calm and walks away from mealtimes settled and happy. The suction holds perfectly on our tiles and he has never managed to move it. Genuinely one of the best things I have bought for him.

The ball feature is genius

I was not sure what the ball in the middle was for at first but it adds a brilliant enrichment element. My spaniel has to work around it to get to the treat and it slows her down perfectly. I fill it with peanut butter or bone broth and she is occupied and calm for a good 15 minutes. Fantastic for keeping an energetic dog mentally stimulated.

Bath time went from a nightmare to easy

I stick this to the wall of the bath with some peanut butter spread in it and my dog stands completely still the entire time she is licking. What used to be a 20 minute wrestling match is now calm and actually enjoyable. She associates bath time with a treat now and comes willingly. Life-changing is not too strong a word for this bowl.

Really good product with one small note

The lick bowl works brilliantly — my golden retriever is completely distracted and content whenever I use it. The suction is strong and the design is well thought out. I am giving four stars rather than five only because it took my dog a couple of sessions to fully figure out the ball. Once she got it though she was completely hooked. Great product overall.

Vet recommended slow feeding — this is the one

My vet told me my French Bulldog needed to slow down his eating to reduce bloating and digestive discomfort. I tried several slow feeder bowls but this lick bowl is by far the most effective. The liquid treat format means he cannot gulp and the ball adds just enough challenge to keep him engaged. His digestion has noticeably improved since we started using it.

Keeps my anxious dog calm and focused

My rescue dog gets anxious during grooming, nail clipping and when visitors arrive. I now use this bowl with some yogurt or wet food spread in it and she is completely focused on it instead of her anxiety. The licking seems to genuinely calm her — I have read it releases endorphins and I can absolutely believe it watching her. A must for anxious dogs.

Suction is seriously strong

My dog is a large, strong Husky who manages to flip every bowl I have ever bought within seconds. I stuck this to the floor and she has not budged it once. Not even close. The suction cup is genuinely industrial strength and gives me complete confidence it will stay put no matter how enthusiastically she licks. Impressive engineering for such a simple looking product.

Perfect for home alone time

I work from home but have calls where I need my dog to be settled and quiet. I prepare this bowl with frozen bone broth and give it to him at the start of my call. He is completely occupied for the entire duration and I can focus without interruption. I now keep a few frozen in advance and it has made working from home so much easier.

Cleans up in seconds

One thing I love about this bowl is how easy it is to clean. I rinse it under warm water and it comes clean immediately — no residue stuck in grooves or hard to reach corners. The silicone material does not stain or hold smells even after using strong treats like sardines or liver paste. Practical design that has clearly been thought through properly.

Great enrichment tool for a bored dog

My Jack Russell gets destructive when he is bored and I am always looking for new ways to keep him mentally stimulated. This bowl has been brilliant for that — the combination of the treat and the ball means he has to think and work for his reward. He is calmer and better behaved on days when he uses it. One star off only because I wish it came with treat suggestions included.

My dog asks for it now

I know that sounds like an exaggeration but my Border Collie literally sits next to where we keep this bowl and stares at it expectantly every morning. He has completely associated it with his favourite treat time and gets genuinely excited. Seeing that level of enthusiasm for something that also slows him down and reduces his anxiety is everything I could ask for from a dog product.

Great for post-surgery recovery

My dog had a minor operation and the recovery period meant keeping her calm and still was essential. This bowl was perfect — I could keep her occupied and mentally engaged without her needing to move around or get excited. Her surgeon actually commented at the follow up that she had recovered exceptionally well and I think keeping her calm with this bowl was a big part of that.

Tried several slow feeder bowls before this one and none of them made as much difference. The lick bowl format is genuinely more effective than raised dividers for slowing a dog down. My Dachshund cannot rush this one no matter how hard she tries and she has completely stopped gulping. Four stars because I would love a slightly deeper version but otherwise highly recommend.
